Writing Samples
These documents are designed to be used by teachers and students to enhance students’ writing and to assess this writing relative to the standards specified in the Narrative Writing Scoring Guides for the Provincial Achievement Test. The three components of this document are intended to be integral parts of the writing program used throughout the school year in grades 4, 5, and 6. This document has been developed in conjunction with teachers from throughout the province. These teachers have extensive experience in teaching and in the marking process of the provincial achievement tests.
