Parents and students can choose from a wide range of schools (public, separate, Francophone, charter, private) and unique and innovative programs (home education, online/virtual schools, outreach programs, alternative programs).
School Year Operating Schedule
Schedules for public, separate, Francophone and charter schools are updated each August for the new school year.
Guide to Education
This Guide is released for the use of administrators, counsellors, teachers and other parties engaged in the delivery of quality basic education. It contains the policies, procedures and organizational information required to operate schools. Requirements contained in the Guide are effective the first day of the school year as defined by the local school authority.
