Fees and Payments

Important information regarding August Transcript Release

For students who wrote diploma examinations in August 2014,The August release of summer school transcripts were sent out without the August diploma exam marks. The problem has been corrected and new transcripts were mailed out on August 25th, 2014.

 

Please Note:
  • If you are applying to an Alberta post-secondary institution, please consult with them, or visit the Apply Alberta website: https://www.applyalberta.ca/pub. Some Alberta post-secondary institutions will request your transcript on your behalf at no charge.
  • Diploma courses with unpaid rewrite fees will not appear on your official transcript until the outstanding fee is paid.
  • Alberta Education no longer accepts credit card payments verbally, via e-mail, or written on forms that have been mailed or faxed to our office in order to comply with ‘Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standard. 
  • If you wish to order your transcripts you can order it online via the link below or mail in your request with a cheque or money order.
  • Effective September 1st, 2014, Statement of Courses and Marks will only be issued on an “As Soon As Possible” basis. Requests will no longer be held in anticipation of First, Second, or Summer School Semester exam marks.
 

Fees:

  • There is a $10.00 fee for each copy of your Transcript
  • There is no fee for a Statement of Courses and Marks
  • There is a $26.25 fee ($50.00 for foreign students) for each diploma examination rewrite or rescore

Payments:

  • Online Visa, MasterCard or Amex
  • In Person Cheque, Cash/Debit Card, Money Order, Visa, MasterCard or Amex
  • By Mail  Cheque, Money Order

Important:

  • Make cheques or money orders payable to Government of Alberta.
  • Do not send cash through the mail.
  • Requests for documents and payments will not be taken over the telephone.
  • Payments with Credit Cards can only be made via the online requests and payments system.
