Aboriginal Learner Data Collection Initiative
The ALDCI supports the goals of the FMNI Education Policy Framework. The ALDCI helps to identify Aboriginal learners in the province through voluntary self-identification during the student registration process. Collecting this data is an important step to improving the assessment of the educational attainment of Aboriginal learners.
More information on the ALDCI is available in the following documents. Alberta's school communities are invited to use these documents to create greater awareness of this initiative with students, parents and others.
