Curriculum Branch

Curriculum Branch leads the development of curriculum frameworks and learning outcomes in the programs and courses of study for Alberta's Kindergarten to grade 12 students. The branch works with education clients, stakeholders and partners, including First Nation education authorities and First Nations, Métis and Inuit educators, in providing responsive and relevant curriculum by preparing or revising legal documents called Programs of Study. This branch is leading the FNMI curriculum infusion project to incorporate FNMI perspectives into Alberta curriculum.
