Learning Technologies Branch

Learning Technologies Branch provides leadership in advancing the use of technology in learning, and is responsible for the design and development of digital learning resources to support program delivery in Alberta's educational institutions. The branch mandate centres around three pillars: development of digital content, technical support and delivery of digital content, and stakeholder awareness of digital content. The branch has incorporated First Nations, Métis and Inuit perspectives into some digital resources on LearnAlberta.ca; in particular the Earth Voices Video Series for Aboriginal Studies, Railways and Immigration in Canada for Social Studies and the Social Studies Online Guide to Implementation.
