K-12 Wellness Program Revisions

To achieve improved learning and wellness outcomes, Alberta Education has initiated a review of the current wellness-related programs of study (K–9 Health and Life Skills, Career and Life Management, and K–12 Physical Education).  A needs assessment for the K–12 Wellness programs, including a comprehensive literature review and stakeholder consultations, was completed between November 2007 and March 2008.  Results from this needs assessments can be found in the following reports:
