Our Partners
The Languages Initiative will benefit from the advice of an advisory committee, with representatives from education stakeholder groups and language partners including:

Inter-Provincial and National Language Learning Curriculum Development Initiatives
The development of language programs of study has both been informed and guided by the following inter-provincial and national language-learning initiatives:
- The Western and Northern Canadian Protocol (WNCP) Common Curriculum Frameworks for International Languages, 2001 (International languages)
- The National Core French Study, Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers (CASLT), 1990 (French as a Second Language; Alternative French (Immersion))
- The Western and Northern Canadian Protocol (WNCP) Common Curriculum Framework for Aboriginal Language and Culture Programs (Kindergarten to Grade 12), 2000
